Three “Bad” Foods that are Actually Good for You (in moderation)
There is so much manipulation of the press and scientific community these days around health and wellness. Big corporate interests want you to believe what supports their corporate agenda and they’ll manipulate the facts surrounding your foods. Certain foods end up getting a bad reputation for being “bad for you” when they are really good for you if eaten in “normal” quantities. Here are three good foods that have suffered from bad press:

  • Eggs: Eggs are an excellent source of nutrition, containing protein, vitamins, minerals and high amounts of beta carotene. They also contain natural lecithin. Eating fresh, organic, free-range eggs (not those hormone-laced factory farmed eggs) a couple times per week is a great way to add healthy nutrition to your diet.
  • Coffee: Yes, coffee contains caffeine, which can be bad in excess. But normal amounts of coffee can provide you with high levels of antioxidants and minerals and caffeine in moderation can be helpful to your circulation, skin condition, and helps reduce inflammation. How much is too much? Two small cups or one larger sized cup per day is probably healthy for most people. Oh, and drink the good stuff, grind it yourself, avoid milk products, and use a natural filter (not a bleached one). No decaf and go easy on the sugar.
  • Animal Fat: Getting moderate levels of fat from animal sources (if you’re not a vegetarian for moral reasons, of course) is one of the best things you can do for your health. This includes moderate amounts of butterfat, and meats. Just make sure you’re getting quality, organically raised, hormone-free products…and don’t over-cook it. Again, eating animal fats a 2-3 times per week is a healthy choice. Avoid dairy fats (milk, cream, cheese) unless you can find a trustworthy source of raw, unpasteurized, fresh milk products. Even then, keep your consumption of these to a minimum.

Get Your Legs Ready for Spring & Summer
You can bet that legs will be IN this Spring and Summer. As the weather warms up, the legs come out into the light. Are yours ready?

Well, you can get your legs ready with toning exercises, waxing and exfoliation treatments and, above all, cover makeup for legs! That’s right, you can hide those blemishes and uneven spots with a spray-on cover for legs. This is not a tanning product, so it’s not full of harsh chemicals and won’t rub off on your clothes. FabuLegs is a simple, spray-on makeup that hides blemishes and makes your legs look great…and natural. Your legs CAN look great with a great cover product, like FabuLegs.
